device discovery is the first step to managing your crawler edge devices start companion open the crawler companion application automatic search the software automatically begins searching for devices on the network the results are displayed in the main table manual refresh if devices are missing, click on the "refresh" icon (usually a circular arrow) or the "search for devices" function to restart the discovery process select device click on the desired crawler edge device in the list to display its details and configuration options
