Update Device Firmware

Crawler.Companion lets you update the firmware of connected Edge devices directly from the application.

  1. Select a device

    Click on the device you want to update in the device list.

  2. Open the Firmware tab

    In the detail panel on the right, click the Firmware tab. The current firmware version of the device is shown here.

  3. Select a firmware file

    Click Durchsuchen and choose the firmware update file (.bin) you received from Invisyne.

  4. Start the update

    Click Update starten. A progress indicator appears while the firmware is transferred to the device.

  5. Wait for the device to restart

    The device restarts automatically once the update is complete. It reappears in the device list after a few seconds with the new firmware version.
