Interface Overview

The Crawler.Companion software is an intuitive tool that facilitates local management of your Edge devices. Below you will find a description of the main functions based on the application’s interface.

Interface Overview and Device Discovery

Section titled “Interface Overview and Device Discovery”
  • Find devices immediately: After starting the application, all Edge devices found in the local network are automatically listed in the central table.
  • View important data: The customer receives at a glance an overview of the most important device data such as the device name, current IP address, status (e.g., “Online”), and installed software version.
  • Select devices: By clicking on a device in the list, the customer can select it and access all specific management functions (details, network, update, export) via the right side of the interface.
