Axes
Y-axis modes
Section titled “Y-axis modes”The Axis mode setting in the plot settings switches between two modes:
- Simple (default) — all signals are grouped under one y-axis that zooms dynamically to the data in view.
- Advanced — unlocks the other y-axis settings.
Clicking Stack all signals, or the unstack button next to it in the toolbar, also switches to Advanced.
Plot axes settings
Section titled “Plot axes settings”Axes settings are in the plot’s settings:
- Axis mode — Simple or Advanced
- Autoscale axes (Advanced only) — the y-axis of each signal auto-scales to the data currently in view
- Show all X axes — show the x-axis of every data set instead of just the first (only available when comparing data sets)
- Show all Y axes (Advanced only) — show the y-axis for every linked signal group
X-axis modes
Section titled “X-axis modes”Depending on your data, the x-axis shows time in one of two modes:
- Absolute time — if the data contains real timestamps, they are shown in your browser’s local time zone by default. Click the globe icon at the top-right to choose a different time zone.
- Relative time — click the stopwatch button to show seconds since the start of the data instead. The data then starts at 0 s.
